Sarcee Interchange on track for full completion by fall 2017

TCH – Sarcee Interchange Construction Update

Higher than average rainfall has slowed progress on the interchange work, so construction is now about 30 per cent complete. However, work is ongoing with no major road closures or detours anticipated in the near future. The current temporary traffic detours will be in place until end of this construction season. Tree removal and grass mowing on Trinity lands will protect migratory birds and nests

Calgary is experiencing an extremely mild winter and unseasonably high temperatures are projected to continue. We anticipate that the mild weather will see migratory songbirds returning to nest sooner than in other years. As such, Trinity plans to begin removing trees and shrubs and mowing tall grasses on the developable portion of the Trinity Hills site shortly.
